Abstract:
In this study, ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized using rice straw and rice bran extracts as reducing agents. The characterization was done by XRD, SEM and EDX analysis. XRD patterns were revealed pure and hexagonal structure for both samples. The plate structure and spherical nanoparticles were observed in SEM images for samples were synthesized using rice straw and rice bran extract, respectively. The average size of nanoparticles was about 50 nm. EDX spectra were demonstrated the presence of zinc and oxygen without any impurity in two samples. The obtained results were shown that the rice waste extract could be useful reducing agents for synthesize of nanoparticles.
