Abstract
Different nanostructures based on pure phosphorus including two dimensional phosphorene, black phosphorus quantum dot and violet phosphorus are introduced. In this research, synthesize of phosphorus nanoparticles synthesized by chemical vapour transport (CVT) is performed using red phosphorus as a safe raw material. The optical properties of produced nanoparticles were checked using UV-vis and photoluminescence characterization. The band gap of the nanoparticles was calculated as 3.5 eV which shows that it is near to red phosphorus structure. In addition, photoluminescence of the particles confirm large band gap of the produced nanostructures and quantum dot behaviour.
