Abstract:
Research on two-dimentional materials have been significantly increased in recent years. MoS2 is a member of the family of two-dimentional materials called transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs). TMDs have special properties which was the result of special attention to them. In this research, MoS2 (a member of TMDs family) is synthesized using Polyethylene glycol (PEG-400) as a surfactant. We have used a one-pot simple hydrothermal synthesis method and we will show thet PEGylated MoS2 nanoflakes with lateral size of about 200 nm and a few layer thickness are successfully synthesized.
