Abstract
Cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry were used to investigate the electrochemical behaviour of acetaminophen on nanoporous gold film electrode modified with titanium and chitosan (CS-TiNPGF) electrode. The experimental results showed that acetaminophen exhibited a remarkable oxidation peak at 0.6V in pH7. CS-TiNPGF exhibited on excellent performance toward electrochemical oxidation of acetaminophen showing a significant decrease in the anodic over potential a high sensitivity and a low detection limit 1×10-8 mol/L for acetaminophen. The results indicated that the differential pulse response of acetaminophen was linear with its concertation in the range of 6×10-8 to 5×10-5 mol/L with a linear coefficient of 0.9891 and in the range of 6×10-5 to 7×10-4 mol/L with a linear coefficient of 0.9940. Furthermore, this electrode demonstrated good stability, repeatability, rapid response, and selectivity remarkably.
