Abstract:
Abstract: Nowadays, metallic nano particles (MNPs) are getting a lot of attention in many fields of study, because of their specific properties and applications. Among all these metallic nano particles, CuO NPs are one of the most promising nano materials because of their specific properties such as, high electrical and optical properties and application in solar cells, magnetic ceramics, photocatalytic gas sensors, etc. In addition, scientists recently became aware of the size and morphology high effect on amounts and properties of CuO NPs. In this study, CuO NPs were synthesized by co-precipitation method with the varying in kind of the using salts and concentration of them. Samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and FT-IR spectra. The effect of varying salts and the precursors’ concentration on size and morphology of CuO NPs were investigated and as a result of that particles size were between 20-50 nm
