Abstract:
In this investigation, nano Nd2O3 ceramic powders fabricated via a simple chemical pathway by employing novel precipitator. The efficacy of some preparation parameters was evaluated to reach optimum condition. Results of this work denote that size and morphology of the Nd2O3 could be largely influenced by these parameters. The as-obtained nano Nd2O3 ceramic powders were characterized by FESEM, UV–vis, EDS, FT-IR and XRD. According to the obtained results, it was found that usage of this precipitator is convenient choice for synthesis of nano Nd2O3 ceramic powders with very homogeneous spherical shape. The photocatalyst yield of as-fabricated Nd2Sn2O7 was also examined by removal of the organic contaminant under visible light irradiation. a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a
