Abstract:
A new magnetic polyacrylonitrile-based Pd0 catalyst has been synthesized with high metal loading, reusability and stability. It is clear crystal magnetic property can helps to solve separation problems and metal residue in products. Also, the structure of magnetic polyacryloitrile-based heterogeneous catalyst was characterized by different technique such as FT‐IR, FESEM, TEM and EDX. The FE-SEM images indicate smooth surface of catalyst with a mean diameter 37 nm. Then, the atalyst was used to produce C-O bond of aryl halides and different phenols. The simple reuseability, easy separation and high stability of this Pd catalyst make it excellent candidate to generate C-O cross-coupling which is really important subject in achieving biologically active compounds. It is worth to note the access to good and high yields has been resulted from suitable reactivity of catalyst. The best results were obtained when aryl iodides and bromides substrates were used rather than unactivated aryl chlorides.
