Abstract:
Conductive polymers were recently studied more because of their applications in instrumental tools as sensors or usage in solar cells systems, in many parts, such as buffer layers, active layers, electrodes and etc.One of the most interested polymers that has drown a lot of concern due to its high thermal and atmospheric stability in addition to high conductivity, is polypyrrole, however its stability weakness was limited the applications. Polypyrrole (PPy) and its Au nanocomposite synthesised by in situ polymerization, Au nano particles synthesised and studied by TEM, produced nanoparticles used to improve conductivity of PPy. Formation of PPy improved by FTIR, the occurrence of a wide peak at 3402 cm-1 is assigned to the presence of N-H stretching vibrations of pyrrole ring. The weak band at 2300 cm-1 is due to C-H stretching. The characteristic peak at 1625 cm-1 corresponds to the C=C stretching, whereas peaks at 1403 cm-1 and 1156 cm-1 represent C-N and C-H plane deformation bonds, respectively, and the peak at 1037 cm-1 is due to C-C stretching., UV-Vis test was applied to samples and л-л* transition was studied. 4Point Probe test shown that Rs as resistance parameter decreased, conductivity improved.
