Synthesis of sprayed nanostructured CdO thin films with Ga-doped

Abstract:
Nanostructured Cadmium Oxide and Gallium doped CdO thin films were deposited using simple and costless spray pyrolysis technique (SPT). Structure properties of films were studied for pure and Ga dopant CdO at concentration 2 and 4%. Films were obtained by XRD to realize structure of the films. X-ray diffraction analysis detects that films were polycrystalline with a cubic structure and a preferred orientation along (111) direction. Films reveal changes in crystallite with a decrement in grain size due to Ga concentration. All films showed transmittance nearly 70% visible regions. Optical energy values were shifted toward small wavelength via increase in Ga doping.
